Life After Death??
What a dramatic ending to such a beautiful life. Her name was Lily, but her death was not all bright and colorful, like the flower. It was a stormy and foggy night. So foggy that you couldn't see two inches in front of yourself. The headlights were coming closer and closer, but they looked like they were getting farther and farther away. CRASH! And just like that, it was all over. She left this life, the life we all know and love. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause, a drunk driver. Did she see the bright lights to heaven? Or was it just the bright headlights of the car? The only person who knows the answer is Lily, herself. Did she actually go to heaven? Or just stay in the air of the earth?

Kelly, this was a good paragraph. I think that because it made me think. For example, the questions you asked at the end really made me think about heaven and the lights and gates leading there. Therefore, this piece was good and took lots of thought(from what I can tell!) Although, this piece could be improved by including a universal theme. I did not detect a universal theme. Overall, good job!
