Pull Together

Walls up,
Doors shut,
Chains locked,
Separation

Mind closed,
No expression,
No movement,
Or hesitation

A reason to care,
Perform an action,
Do a thing,
When nothing matters

Life's over,
Forget about it,
There's no point,
It's for the better

But change your mind,
Be optimistic,
Decide to care,
Decide to change

Then life will follow,
Turn for the best,
All by itself,
It will arrange

  1. I like the way you put down your ideas, very chopped short and precise. The only thing i would suggest is putting in some metaphors to make the reader think a little more because your a little too strait forward

  2. I like this poem a lot. It was written extremely well. I think the meaning of this poem is saying that all people should just live their life. You should do what you want to do, and as you progress, life will turn out just as you want it to.

  3. Mayo you are false here. I think the straight foward-ness of it is what makes the poem. The abrupt lines give the poem a choppy rythme that makes you think.
