Snow-Days

Snow-Days
Fun times
Cold and Bright
Playing outside with friends
Catching snowflakes on our tongues
Snow balls and snow forts to make
Running, falling, yelling, laughing, and having fun
Altogether an awesome day of absolutely zero work
Going sledding on all the biggest hills
Skiing all day in the mountains
People young and old shoveling
Making perfect snow angels
Drinking hot chocolate
Plows driving
Snow-Days

  1. great poem. This was good writing because it it used some figurative language when it listed all the verbs. This was not only a magic three but a magic 5! Therefore the figurative language used makes this a peice of writing worth reading.

  2. I thought this poem was good because their was not anything wrong with it, but it could still be improved. When you used figurative language, the alliteration, it was effective because it had good flow but I think you could have added more figurative language because sometimes it got a little boring but I really liked how you shaped the poem which made it look more fun to read. Therefore your poem was good but need a little improvement to make it great.

  3. I thought this was a cute little poem because you had good figurative language, repetition with the beginning and end (Snow-Days), and it was fun to read because of the actual shape of the poem. If you were to make it a little more descriptive, this would have been stellar! Therefore, if you added more description or elaborated more on this poem it would be great.

  4. This was a great poem because you had good use of figurative language. Some examples of figurative language in the story are hyperboles such as "making perfect snow angels" and "skiing all day in the mountains". Therefore this had good figurative language with hyperboles.

  5. This poem was really good because you used figurative lanuage very well. Like when you said, "Running, falling, yelling, laughing, and having fun" I thought this alliteration was good because it really made the poem flow better. Therefore, with the use of great figurative language, this poem was really good.
