Leads

My writing goal is leads. I need some strategies. The only ones I know is to ask a question and start off in the middle of a scene so the reader can ask questions. Is there anymore?

  1. Well i have leads too. And some of the strategies that i use are to have some figurative language in it...like using onomatopoeia to make it more interesting. And also i went online and saw that having an opinion is a good one...maybe you can try that. Hope this helps.

  2. Use dialogue. It can be used to go with the middle of the scene, and make the reader wonder what is going on. You can have them talking about something and then tell the reader what it means.

  3. I recommend starting with adverbs. So far, that has brought success for me. For example, you can start a piece like, "Slowly, quietly, and creepily...." I didn't think much but thats just an example. HOpe it helps.
