Feelings

My cappilaries burst when I see you
And this is not a hyperbole because you can see my bloodshot eyes

Being near you is like being stabbed
And this is not a simile because I have the scars

My brain tells me to get away
And this is not personification because I can hear the voices

These are not examples of figurative language
These are just my feelings towards you

  1. Anthony, this is beyond good, I really understand what your saying in this, about how your feelings are so strong that there is no figurative language in this, its how you feel. I love this! Great use of "no" figurative language

  2. I think this is good poem because you use a good symbol .For example in the poem it states,"And this is not a simile because I have the scars."Therefore this shows your poem is good because the figurative language is a symbol for feelings.

  3. I think that this poem was really good especially because this poem showed feelings/emotion and it shows figurative language put together as one. Even though this poem was really short, you put this poem in a way that it shows the types of figurative languages you are talking about, but they are actually your feelings. Therefore, this poem all in all was well written.

  4. I think that this poem was good because it is personal and has good imagery. I can picture the bloodshot eyes, the stab marks, and I can hear the brain telling him things. This good imagery makes this short poem very good. Therfore imagery makes poem good.

  5. wow this is a really intense poem. I like how dramatic it is and it has a strong meaning in it. Very good imagery in this poem as well. It showed a lot of feeling and anger and i thought that was great.

  6. I think this poem was great because of its emotion. For example, "Being near you is like being stabbed" is a sentence of strong emotion and hatred. This makes a poem better because it now has tone. Therefore, the poem was well written and interesting to read because of the feeling of it.
