Remember When
Remember when Jersey Shore was Barney? Remember when uggs were light up shoes? Remember when relationships were girls and boys had cooties? Remember when drama was stealing your favorite crayon? Remember when we were little? Can we go back?
I like this poem a lot, because of the very strong theme. For example, you get right to the point that life was much easier when we were little. You also did a good job connecting the things that teenagers like and do to what we used to do when we were younger. Therefore, i like this a lot and you did a good job with the theme. Nice job.
This poem was good because it was focused on a good topic that everyone could relate to. For example, in the poem it said,"Remember when drama was stealing your favorite crayon?" This quote shows how much easier life was when we were little kids instead of teenagers. Therefore, this was a great poem.
I like this poem. It was decent. The poem is showing how we can go back to being casual and oldstyle and that maybe nothing should have changed since these things were good back then. It is showing that the future is too much and we should consider going through the past again. There was also some good repition. Therefore, this poem leaves a message of telling us that the past is still as good as the future.
I really liked this poem because your right, if every way possible. People go to school today and have to look perfect to impress everyone, because no one wants to be called ugly, and all kids do at our age is judge, and start rumors, and drama. I can really connect to this because in elementary school I have all the opposite, I started to fit in with uggs and what not in about 4th grade. Good writing as well, such as repetition. Nice job Lauren!
