Hope is what gets you out of bed everyday.
Hope is what drives you to be a better person.
Hope is that feeling you get when you have an epiphany.
Hope goes to sleep but later wakes up.
Hope never gives up on you so never give up on hope.
So, what is hope?
I like this poem a lot because it has a lot of meaning. We all have hoped and hope for something and this connects to everyone. Therefore i think this is a very good poem. Nice job.

ReplyDeleteI liked this because it had repetition and made you think what hope really was. You started every sentence with " Hope..." and at the end asked "So, what is hope?" It made me think what hope is to me. Therefore, this was a good piece of writing. Nice job.

ReplyDeleteI liked this because it made me think about what hope really is. I liked how you explained when you feel hope but then at the end you asked what hope is. I haven't thought about hope being anything other than just a feeling but now i wonder if it actually is something more. Therefore since this poem made me look at something differently I think it's well written.

"So, what is hope?"
Therefore, I liked how you explained what 'hope' is and then went in a huge circle and asked what exactly it is.
I agree with just about everyone that commented on this. Jess brought up a good point about a full circle ending which was a really good observation. Hope is something everyone experiences and always has somewhere throughout their body. Like Kim said, it makes me think about the implicit meaning of hope.
ReplyDeleteI think that this was a good poem. I get the imagery out of it. I can tell your message and what you are trying to say in general. This poems is very motovational and telling you that hope is what you assume and predict like I hope for this or hope for that. Your showing us that hope like luck. Therefore, this poem was great and gives the message of hoping every day for the future.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this poem because of the repetition, but also the shift at the end. I like how you gave many examples of what hope is, but at the end you said "So, what is hope?" I think adding the question at the end makes people think more about your poem, which makes it effective. Therefore, this poem was good because of the effective shift and question.
